Today marks the first day of Fall – or the Autumn Equinox for the more technical term. As the winds of autumn begin to blow, there’s no better time to get outside and enjoy some of the best fall activities in Louisville, KY. Here are 14 fun things to do in Louisville this fall:

 

1. Fall Hikes on Cherokee Park Trails

2. See the Changing Colors at Iroquois Park

The trees around Iroquois Park turn many different colors in October and November. The Great Lawn and the George Layne Trail are both great spots to see the fall foliage.

Louisville is home to some pretty spooky and haunted places – and I don’t mean in a cheesy way! We’re talking real hauntings and ghost stories that will make your hair stand on end! If you want to get scared I recommend heading to Eastern State Hospital or Waverly Hills Sanatorium .
