3.6L PENTASTAR® V6 ENGINE
First up is the recognizable 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine which has been a hallmark of the previous Grand Cherokees. This engine combines capability with fuel efficiency. Drivers will get up to 293 max horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. This engine also offers Variable Valve Timing (VVT) to improve performance, fuel economy and emissions.
5.7L HEMI® V8 ENGINE
Next up is the 5.7L Hemi V8 engine with fuel saver technology and VVT. This engine offers more power than the V6. Drivers will get up to 357 max horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. This engine, along with the Pentastar V6, offers a sequential, multipoint, electronic and returnless fuel injection system.
2.0L I4 DOHC DI TURBO PHEV ENGINE
New for the 2022 model year is a plug-in hybrid engine option. The 2.0L I4 DOHC DI Turbo PHEV engine gets up to 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. This engine features a direct injection fuel system and is only available on the Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe model.
